RJ's Lawn Service

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Sharp blade, even cut, and your walks blown clean before I leave. Most lawns on the Sachse-Wylie loop run weekly through the growing season.

I mow weekly through April-October, every-other-week through the cooler months. Bermuda gets cut a touch lower, St. Augustine stays taller through July and August so the heat doesn't scalp it. Edges get hit every visit, walks and the driveway get blown off, and the gate gets latched. That is the whole job.

  • Edging & Trimming

Power-edged borders along walks and beds, plus string-trim around fences, posts, and the AC unit your last guy kept missing.

Clean lines along the driveway and walks every week, string-trim around tree rings, fences, and any obstacle the mower deck cannot get to, and a final blow-off so nothing carries onto the patio. Sharp edges hold for the full week between visits.

  • Weed Eating

String trimmer along fences, posts, foundations, and tree rings — the spots a mower will never reach.

After every mow I walk the property with the trimmer and clean up everything the deck couldn't reach. Around fence posts, AC units, the playset, the foundation, and any tree ring. Knocks back the runners that creep into the beds, too.

  • Blowing & Cleanup

Walks, drive, and patio blown clean every visit. I don't leave clippings on your concrete.

Every visit ends with a full blow-off — driveway, walks, patio, porch. No clippings tracked into the house, no piles in the gutter. I'd rather spend an extra five minutes here than have you sweep up after me.

  • Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the right depth so the beds look fresh and the weeds give up.

Bagged or bulk, you pick. I spread it 2 to 3 inches deep around the plants and trees with a clean edge against the lawn. If last year's mulch has matted into a crust, I pull that off first so the new layer actually breathes.

  • Junk & Debris Haul-Off

Storm debris, broken patio furniture, the pile of branches the previous owner left — loaded up and gone.

Trailer comes with the truck, so if you have a pile of yard debris, an old grill, broken planters, or branches after a Sachse thunderstorm, I can load it up the same morning I mow. Pay-by-the-load, no minimum.

  • Bush & Shrub Trimming

Hollies, boxwoods, crape myrtles, photinias — shaped clean, with the cuttings hauled off, not left in the bed.

Shape work on your foundation shrubs, holly hedges, and ornamentals. Done at the right time of year for each plant, not just whenever it gets quoted. Cuttings get bagged or trailered off — I never leave them piled in the bed for you to deal with.

  • Small Tree Trimming

Lifting low limbs off the lawn, clearing branches off the roof, and shaping young live oaks and crape myrtles. Anything truly tall, I'll refer you out.

I handle small-to-medium tree work from the ground or a short ladder — limb-lifting so the mower can get under the canopy, clearing roof and gutter contact, and seasonal crape myrtle shaping (real shaping, not crape murder). Tall removals or anything near power lines, I'll refer you to a friend with the right rig and insurance.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
